PENDING COLLECTIVE
Pending Collective are a group of artists aged 16-25 years who work with BACKLIT Staff and Artists to develop their skills in project management, curating, organising events, running workshops and marketing.
Pending Collective have taken ownership of an allotment plot on King Edward Park. They will use this to explore creative processes that deepen their connection to the natural world. This will include the growing of crops and foraging of materials to produce natural pigments, inks and dyes.
In 2021, Pending Collective will explore the role of creative placemaking within the park and the way in which this can strengthen relationships between community groups that share the park.
